Iaido
Iaido
consists of four movements: (1) Nukitsuke is the drawing of the
sword, (2) Kirutesuke is the cutting movement - killing the opponent
with a single deadly thrust, (3) Chiburi is the removing of the
blood from the sword, and (4) Noto is the returning of the sword to
the saya or scabbard.
